Our emblem

Why the whale shark?

The whale shark is the gentle giant of Ningaloo, on our own Western Australian coast. Calm, patient and unhurried, it takes in what it needs a little at a time.

No two whale sharks share the same spot pattern. It's our reminder that every learner in your room is different too.

Different patterns. Brighter learning.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Which curriculum are your resources aligned to?

Every resource is mapped to the Australian Curriculum v9. Each product also includes a curriculum section citing the matching Western Australian, NSW and Victorian codes, with references to the official sources.

Why are resources sold by year-level band?

So you only pay for what you'll use. Each resource is written for one band (Foundation, Years 1–2, 3–4, 5–6, 7–8 or 9–10), with pages pitched for those learners.

I teach Prep / Kindergarten / Reception. Is Foundation for me?

Yes. "Foundation" is the same first year of school whatever your state calls it: Pre-primary (WA), Prep (Vic, Qld, Tas), Kindergarten (NSW, ACT), Reception (SA) or Transition (NT).

Where can I buy?

Directly here (pay by card and download instantly), or from our Teachers Pay Teachers store if you prefer to keep everything in one place. Prices are the same.

Can my school pay by purchase order?

Can I share resources with my teaching team?

A single licence covers one teacher. For teams, a school licence will cover every teacher on one campus at a discounted rate.

How do you handle cultural and commemorative events?

With care. First Nations content is reviewed by a First Nations educator and supports learning led by local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. January 26 is explored through multiple perspectives, commemorations are reflective, faith festivals include secular options, and family events include "special person" versions.
